Dear President,

I express regret at your country that executions have resumed in Taiwan
after a five year de facto moratorium. 

Taiwan now joins other executing countries including China and these
executions go against a general global trend towards aboliton.
In addition, I emphasize there are serious legal concerns around the
speed and procedures followed in these cases.

Lastly, I urge you that the Taiwan takes a lead to stop all further
executions and takes urgent concrete steps towards implementing their
long-stated goal of abolishing the death penalty.
